Difference Between These Cathay Flights?

What is the difference between these Premium Economy Cathay flights? Both are the same, except for the first flight one lists the AA flight number and is more expensive, and the other lists the Cathay code share flight at a cheaper price.

Other than due to the price difference, will these earn different LPs and miles?

Since it is a Premium Economy ticket, will the economy seats on the AA operated leg still earn LPs according to the Cathay/American partnership?

Side Note: On the AA website this route doesn't even show up, and all other options are over $4k.

They are the exact same flights. The first/cheaper one is just booking the domestic AA segment as the CX codeshare flight number, while the second/expensive one is booking it as the AA prime flight number.

There will be different LP earning, the first will earn as two CX flights (based on whatever fare code each segment books into). The second would earn as an AA flight + CX flight.

Even without knowing the fare codes, I can all but assure you that any few additional LP's you may earn by booking the second/expensive itinerary will in no way be worth the $500+ price delta.
