Flying through DUB

Morning,

I am due to fly through DUB on AA shortly - AA ticket throughout but the initial flight is on Aer Lingus from the UK.

Assuming I can't check in online (AA.com never seems to let me) will Aer Lingus be able to print off all of my boarding passes at initial check-in?

If not, is there an airside transfer desk at DUB which can do that?

Does Aer Lingus allow paid upgrades to their version of J (for the UK-DUB flight) on an AA ticket?

From what I have read, there is conflicting information about the process in DUB. I believe the order is TSA-style security, then the US border. I have GE, does that help me at all through the security part? Does my OWS assist with that at all? Or is it just a J/Y split? I'm in PE at present.

Sorry for all the questions. The DUB website just has a video which says "it's all good."

Many thanks.

Yes you should be checked all the way through. Not sure about upgrade offers on the UK-DUB route, though it will be a short hop flight anyway. An upgrade would only be to the same size seat closer to the front.

At DUB your global entry will help get you through the US passport control line quicker.

Since youre PE, OWS wont help with the US CBP security line(which doesnt matter since you have GE), but you will get access to the 51st and Geeen lounge after you get through that checkpoint.

1: Yes, they should. You will still need to see an AA agent at DUB anyways though so they can scan your passport.
2: No, but they can do everything at the gate. The 51/Green lounge is contract so does not have any AA staff present there.
3: Yes, you can ask at check in if there are any available.
4: There is TSA style security first, however when I passed through it wasn't in operation, one just walked right through the metal detector with bags and all, they were randomly selecting people during document check for secondary though. There was a priority lane for those with Business Class and status (they let me through on a Y ticket as OWE), not sure if global entry is valid for that though, to get through the document check there. DUB preclearance has global entry kiosks as usual.

Flying PHL-DUB in BC in a few weeks, connecting to QR to DOH. 787-8

PHL-DUB - I am guessing it is under 6 in the air. Dinner after takeoff. Any breakfast service? Anyone fly it recently? How was the crew?
(I was surprised with a great AA crew DOH-PHL a few months ago.)

DUB connection...
I have 5 hours between flights. How is the connection security? (I assume I will get my QR bp in MIA before flying to PHL.)
Which lounge for the QR flight out of T1? The Liffey Lounge vs The Martello Lounge? Lounge review?

PHL-DUB is short but treated the same as any other TATL flight, dinner after takeoff and breakfast before landing. Crew will be AA, you could have a great crew today and a bad one tomorrow, but generally speaking I find the PHL crews pretty decent.

According to the oneworld site QR uses the Martello Lounge so I'm not sure you will have any choice. I'd check over on the QR forum or just Google some reviews.

There will be an "Express" option for the dinner. The last time I took that flight the crew did the express meal for everyone. I suggest eating beforehand in the PHL Flagship lounge. The breakfast is not worth waking up for. Best to just have a coffee or tea before landing and then get something a bit later in the lounge or airport.

Most AA international crews these days do the basic job competently but no more. Expect no proactive service between the dinner and breakfast service. Great crews are not unknown but it's been a long time since I have had one on AA.

QR uses the Martello lounge. No personal experience, unfortunately.
