Bulkheads & personal items

Is there a list somewhere of AA planes that don't have a floor partition in front of bulkhead seats (so I can store my personal item under the seat in front)?

Thanks in advance!

What class/seat/type of airplane are you on?

Buster CT1K, I was just wondering if there's a general list somewhere so I can check before choosing seats for each flight. I have an upcoming trip on an a320, 787-800, and a321.

Thank you for your help.

Aerolopa has a decent notes section for most aircraft which describes the bulkhead situation.

Personally, I always assume the items will have to go above. Especially since AC can be subbed out. (Although I understand that is really not what you were asking - just saying even the best plans can easily go astray!)

I think I'll take the "better safe than sorry" approach, too. I usually don't need anything from my bag, but just in case...

Once you are in the air you can get it out of the bin. It only has to be up there for takeoff and landing.

The suggestion to use AeroLopa is a good one.

In your specific case, the A321 bulkhead will allow you to store bags under the F seats in front (assuming you're not on a transcon A321T)
The A320 and 788 will not.

Other aircraft that have this, for future reference, are the 737s (-800 and MAX8) and any of the two-class Regional Jets.

And on certain AC, the overhead may even not be available as it is locked for emergency equipment. Even so, I've never had issue on wide-body AC in premium cabins when that happens, but domestic front-cabin cabins be a real pain if you don't board early - regarless of your seat.

The safest bulkhead is behind 1st class. Row 24 ABC on a 321 (non-neo) has the bathroom bulkhead (no storage), and 11F is where the FA sits right in front of you, so again no storage.
