Will AA codeshare on the new 3rd DOH-JFK flight?

As has been reported a bunch, AA stopped operating JFK-DOH on its own metal and moved the frequency to PHL-DOH. In response (and presumably coordination), Qatar is now operating a third JFK-DOH flight at the roughly the same time as the now-cancelled AA flight. This was added to the schedule a few days ago, on Sunday.

Strangely, AA is not codesharing this third flight, but does codeshare on the other two JFK-DOH flights operated by Qatar. Is this intentional, or is AA likely to codeshare and it's just taking a while for the codeshare fares to be uploaded?

Give it some time to settle and the systems to update. Why wouldn't AA codeshare on the 3rd QR flight when it does for the two other daily QR flights?

Likely, but that often doesn't happen immediately when a partner loads a new flight. AA actually has to put its code on that flight in a future schedule update.

The only roadblock I can see is governmental approval, but I believe they don't specify number of flights or timings, just routes and airlines.

That's the issue and concern -- the timing. I need to rebook due to schedule changes, but can only rebook onto AA coded flights. Trying to figure out when/if AA will apply its code. It should, but not clear when. Is there a particular day of the week that AA tends to update schedule changes and load fares for those schedule changes?

Give it time! QR just loaded it. AA, generally, will not load a codeshare until the native flight is loaded.
