Missing SWU

Missing SWU
Details: I had 5 SWU's in my account in May 2022. 4 were expiring on July 31 2022 and 1 via promotion was expiring on Dec 31 2022.
I had 2 confirmed upgrades from JFK to MAD in June and after waitlisting, had 2 confirmed upgrades MAD-JFK-CLT. We were upgraded at CLT for return to PDX which should have been based upon the return upgrade (MAD-JFK-CLT-PDX) all same day.
But when I check recently, All 5 upgrades were redeemed. I have called the advantage help desk with no credible response.
I have some flexibility in early December and would like to try to use that last SWU.
Any advice would be appreciated.

SWU usage appears in AA.com's "My Activity" view.
Perhaps that can help you track down where AA believes the upgrades were applied?
