Why is the ship number on the NLG door partially blocked out? Are we now to the point where we are treating aircraft registrations and fleet numbers like license plates shown on TV?

It's not that it's supposed to sound superior, it's because people that are gluten intolerant need to know this information (apparently on more products than you realized). Many dishwashing agents/detergents contain ingredients that are (deliberately) designed to leave a residue for rinse aide, to reduce spotting, or disinfection (commercial). That sounds insignificant to those of us without a gluten sensitivity, button mens people that's important info.
