Unruly passenger in Buffalo opens plane door
By Geoff Herbert | [email protected]A woman has been arrested at a Western New York airport after opening a plane’s cabin door and inflating the emergency exit slide.

WIVB reports Cynthia McKnight, a 24-year-old woman from Sacramento, California, was accused of “unruly behavior” as a pilot prepared to take off from Buffalo Niagara International Airport on Tuesday night. The American Airlines flight that was en route to Chicago had to return to the gate when the incident occurred.

It was a staged protest against all of the Plats & Golds on the upgrade list

Was it the main cabin door or the exit row? If the latter, maybe she wanted to see the famous Buffalo Wings?

Main boarding door. I hope they charge her to repack that slide.

I think the only noteworthy thing is that AA doesn't serve MIA from BUF.

The only delayed flight on Wednesday that I could find was Envoy 4093 and it was less than an hour late into ORD. Did they repack the slide that fast?

It was Tuesday night and the flight was cancelled. That is AA's last departure from BUF for the day so I am sure some pax that had places to be wanted to lay unholy hands on her.

I'm not saying it would be right but if I was on board and someone laid hands on her I wouldn't have seen/said anything...
