Has AA dropped masks on flights?
Apparently DL and UA are continuing with masking pending Gov't instruction. Communications from admin say TSA will no longer enforce this rule as it is now NOT in place. If we are flying AA in the next week, should we expect to be face diaper free?

I’m literally in the air right now, nothing yet from AA but hopefully soon! It was Doug that asked it be dropped and said AA policy would mirror TSA, but he’s no longer CEO so…

Sorry to go on topic, but do you have to wear a mask on AA or not?
Is been announced that TSA will not enforce you wearing it in the airport (not that they really were anyway, but it was the rule before and so most people did) so it would be strange for AA to require it upon boarding.

Folks--
This is NOT the place to voice your political beliefs or beliefs on any controversial topic. If your post is not related to AA, it will be deleted and discipline will be issued.
To the OP--I would suggest doing as instructed by your flight staff.

Which is so ironic, because it was Doug Parker himself who requested the policy be eliminated. I know he’s no longer the CEO, but I think a little bit of executive continuity on this matter would be appropriate for their customers.
