LHR help - priority security line?

LHR help - priority security line?
I seem to recall there being a dedicated security line pre-covid for business/first/priority travelers at T5 in Heathrow. Last time I was there I couldn't find it and when I asked I got sent to the regular line. Maybe I am mistaken? Anyone here know? And if there is one, where did they hide it :-)

There are 2 Fast Track lanes at north and south security ( not sure if both are running at the moment)
If you are travelling First or have AA Exp status then you should be able to use the First Wing ( south end of the terminal)

I recall reading a recent trip report here in FT that someone transiting LHR in Biz was not able to use fastrack security @ T5, as it was not open.
Within the last month maybe?
Not sure on the actual status of it, but it may currently be closed?
If transiting, you could always go landside, and then thru the First Wing if eligible.

Not sure if things have changed since then but as of late February, Fast Track was closed at T5 flight connections, as were the escalators up to South Security - everyone was routed through the standard lines and up to North Security (where the lines were very long as they were testing new screening technologies that seem to have a very high false positive rate). That said, Fast Track was open at South Security if you are originating in London or have the option of going landside.
