Upgrade on Jetblue Codeshare
Is there anyway to upgrade a flight that is an AA Codeshare but operated by Jetblue? Expertflyer shows C inventory on cross country flights, but AA says I cannot use a businessextra upgrade or miles to upgrade. What's the point of the C inventory then?

Upgrades apply to AA marketed and operated flights. And some JV partners with BusinessExtra
You cannot use AA upgrades on other airlines.
C inventory only matters for AA flights.

Opposite question. If I book an AA flight through Jet Blue, will I still be put on the upgrade list? Can I use miles & co-pay to upgrade on a B6 ticket flying on AA (seems much less probable)?
