Flying MCO to Paris (business). Is one aircraft preferable over another? Choice between 788-Boeing 787 and 772-Boeing 777.. TIA

They’re not much different in business class. Take the routing that works best for you, and gives you time to eat and get a long rest.

Sorry, wasn't clear.

Coming home from Paris to Miami choice is :
788-Boeing 787
or
772-Boeing 777

(and then connecting to MCO)

I've been reading about the conjoined seat on the 788 and wasn't sure about the seats if feeling the movement from another passenger is still an issue.

how tall are you? At 6'1" I found the 787 seats a little more comfy leg room wise but I knocked back several Tito's doubles by the time I went to bed so god only knows.

787 is super quiet and better air. You’ll want seat 1A or 1L. Second choice would be 5A or 5L.

I would choose 788 as they are less likely to MX. Everytime I fly 772 I pray it doesn't MX and ruin my travel plans. Especially when I have a separate ticket on another carrier.

I'd choose 772 without hesitation. All 788s have my personal least favorite seats in the fleet -- the reverse/forward Concept D seats. At least with the 772, you have a chance of the superior Rockwell Collins seats.

I agree with this one. While it's not guarantee that you'll get the 772 with the good seats, you are guaranteed to have the bad seats on the 788. Also, the 772 cabin is a little larger lending itself to slightly more spacious seats.

Perhaps it’s because I know that the 777 is wider than the 787, but I’ve always felt I had more room in the 777. The 787 may be somewhat quieter, but with my Bose noise cancelling gear, noise has never been an issue on either for me.

Just a correction to a general idea in this thread so far, 788s do NOT all have Concept D in business. They are being redone with Super Diamond all the time. Not all are done yet, however.

where did you get that. Only the new 787-8 will get the super diamond. The older planes will stay the same with zodiac with no plans of refit for the time being

It's the 789 that has the Super Diamond throughout. The 788 will likely have the Concept D.
