Quick followup - after an initial negative email response from Customer Relations, a call to the Executive Platinum Liaison desk, and a second call from Customer Relations, AA made me whole. I received a voucher for my original flight plus an additional voucher for the inconvenience. More importantly, I was assured that people were reaching out to the digital content team to correct the web site, and that correct information would be sent to the phone agents.
