Help using AA flight credit please.
Looks as if I will have to take a sizeable credit from AA for flights I’m unable to take. Anyone able to suggest a way of using this credit without flying AA please?

AA won't let you use it on their partners; you can just keep the credit for now and don't have to rebook new flights right away and even if you do, AA has eliminated change fees.

Otherwise, you can keep the booking for now and hope that there is a major schedule change (over 4 hours or from non-stop to connecting flights) in which cases you would qualify for a refund.

You can use unused tickets and credits on codeshares operated by partners as long as the flights are sold under AA flight numbers.
