DFW busiest airport during covid

I thought this article is interesting. From Wall Street journal

https://www.wsj.com/amp/articles/the...el-11594215729

Saying DFW busiest airport in the world by default. American still has 667 flights from DFW and having passengers connect through there. What are ur thoughts. Its also saying airport clubs are open.

The Delta fanboys on airliners.net were losing their mind over this.

I connected through there on Tuesday and was very surprised how busy it was. Because stores and eat-in eateries are closed the common areas were crowded with people. This was more evident at 9:30 when I landed than 11:30-12:00 when I left the AC. AC was quiet.

Unfortunately me too, it's gonna be the covid capital of the world by then, I am wondering how safe it is given how messed up Texas is and the high traffic at DFW.

AA has been running full aircraft and a much deeper schedule than DL. This was bound to happen.

I think there was a time during the early pandemic when even CLT had more passengers than ATL.

I love DFW. I think it's a great layout and really no more than 10 minutes from any terminal via sky train. ATL? Hell hole. Right up there with PHL and EWR.

I tend to agree, while I do prefer DL I like DFW more than ATL. I certainly wouldn’t say it’s anything like PHL or EWR though. I also prefer ATL to CLT.

If you need to get to the outer concourse at ATL it takes forever on the train. That's my biggest complaint.

You've obviously never gone from A13 to E28 on a tight connection. :-) ATL much more reasonable than the linear layout of DFW IMO

I once let my guard down and forgot about that and almost missed my flight...

Well point taken--yes. However the majority of (AA) connections take place between A and C and to a lesser extent B if (for the most part, who the hell knows now) if you're flying Eagle or 175's.

ATL is generally considered a "linear" terminal with satellites connected by train/concourses, while DFW is classified as a "semicircular" design --
