Upgrade issues and app changes
Anyone else noticing this: I requested an upgrade DAY-DFW. In the past you could view the upgrade list on the AA App. It’s no longer there. On top of that somehow I got 2 vouchers deducted from my stack, but no notice of an upgrade. Is there anywhere else to check on the upgrade list?

I seem to recall someone saying AA will put the required vouchers effectively "on hold" and that the hold will get released at departure if the upgrade doesn't clear. Don't quote me on this, though. I vaguely remember reading it somewhere in this forum.

The upgrade list is available within 4 hours of departure. When is your flight? (I flew yesterday and the upgrade list was definitely still available via the app.)

Exactly right. If the upgrade doesn’t clear stickers are redeposited into one’s account. It avoids GAs from needing to pull stickers at the gate if an upgrade clears at the gate.
