I'm just going to move this thread over to the AA forum, since that is where the expertise on EQMs and EQDs is located.

On IB, EQD is earned at 5% of miles flown and EQM at 50% of miles flown for a Q fare. So it is more like (4930+3720)*0.05 = 433 EQD and (4930+3720)/2 = 4325 EQM. Plus about 2140 EQM for the AA flights gives a total around 6465 EQM.

You'd also get EQD for the AA flights according to the ticket price. Unless it is hidden in the formatting, I don't see any pricing information, so it is not possible to determine EQD for that. Could also be a special fare, but they are getting pretty rare.

Thanks. I originally posted in IB forum because the flight was booked on Iberia.
Does that change the answer? I was calculating the AA segment using 20% of the distance, even though it is operated by AA, but booked via IB.
For the IB segment, I also used 5% of miles.

The important part is which Airline's flight number the ticket was booked as (marketing carrier), not which carrier operates the flight, and not which carrier you bought the ticket from

I see. So since it is AA2570 and AA2178, those segments will earn EQDs per the ticket price?

As post 5 you will earn as the flights numbers.
In post 1 you state.
AA2750 MIA PHL [B booking class]
IB4679 PHL CDG [Q booking class]

IB4946 CDG PHL [Q booking class]
AA2178 PHL MIA [B booking class]
Are those the flights numbers you purchased? Operators (codeshare) flight numbers are not relevant

Then the numbers for the IB flights in post 2 stand. You'll earn 433 EQD and 4325 EQM for those IB-marketed flights.

For the AA-marketed flights I used the wrong EQM number. On a B fare that only earns half so you're looking at 1070 EQM. If AA knows the cost of those segments, you'll get EQD based on the price (expect something small like 30-40). If it is considered a "special fare" then it earns EQD at 5% which means 107 EQD.

https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-p...cial-fares.jsp

In total you're looking at 5395 EQM and between 433-540 EQD (most likely around the middle of that range, but we don't have the fare information so can't be more specific).
