Given the MX issues, i think it's funny. And maybe this particular application is "common" but i've never seen it.

Speed tape is a high tech and expensive product; it’s commonly used for temporary repairs, it’s FAA approved. It has also been discussed previously.

The title does not meet guidelines established by the FlyerTalk Rules, and it’s so vague I can’t even imply the intent of the thread. If an appropriate thread is found this might be merged into it, but for now it’ll be closed.
