Plat Pro about to drop to Plat. I received the $800 version. Should be lucrative if I book some LHR flights as AA codeshares; note the "AA marketed" requirement in the T&Cs.

Got the same offer too (i.e. no min spend, fly PE or above). FWIW I too am PLT that flew in PE in recent months.

Obviously, AA is in the business of making money and is using this promo to try and encourage people to purchase more first class tickets and using metrics to try to decide what they need to offer each person to be successful in that goal. I already have a paid first class ticket booked for next month and though my husband is on those same flights in first class his ticket was booked with Business Extra points. They know I already have purchased a first class flight for that time period so obviously they have no desire to give me a bonus for something I paid for before the promo was announced. I get it and I can't really fault them for trying to increase revenue but it still stings a bit that I am more loyal than my husband but he gets a substantially better offer.

I assume that any particular ticket is still capped at max 75,000 award miles, right?
E.g., I have a $7000 business class flight to LHR coming up, so I'd still only be able to max out at 75,000 miles for that, even with the promo?
