Anyone know what "improvements" AA is making this weekend ?

I see the message below while logging into my account, can't change seats for my flight tomorrow and segments from yesterday are not showing. Any idea what these "improvements" are ??

We're hard at work on aa.com. You may not be able to log in or use other parts of the site and American app on Friday, January 11 from 8 p.m. - 7 a.m. (CST) Sunday, January 13. Please call us if you need help.

Project Oasis.com. They’re shrinking the fonts so they can squeeze more words on the website.

From an IT perspective it is a big window of time. They must be doing something significant.

Or, you know, they are utterly incompetent and have little competition, so they have no actual incentive to go for great.

Most likely they are randomly removing 500 mile stickers from people's accounts for no reason.

Well those free 20 stickers they gave anyone who ever flew 1 -5 segments on AA in the last 24 months have to come from somewhere.

IMO that large of a timeframe to be down, for a company like this, in an industry like this, is unacceptable.

Uggh, my new flight was rebooked, tried logging in to confirm seats and could not so I called AA Plt Pro line, the agent also could not get into the system so she "transferred" me, now waiting on a call back between 16-30 mins from now. Looks like the system is down completely right now can't log into website or app.

maybe just raising prices on tickets, adding new requirements to all levels of AA FF programs,
taking away saver awards across the board, and probably a lot more stuff that AA will tell us is good for us
