Refund of ticketing fee
A relative purchased a fully refundable ticket through telephone reservations. She canceled the trip and applied for a refund. AA refunded everything except for the ticketing fee. I'm curious if other people have attempted and failed to get the ticketing fee refunded on a fully refundable ticket.

Could your relative have purchased the ticket online, for example?
