This particular A332 started operating on 7/5 and runs daily until 8/21 on a PHL-CLT-PHX-PHL routing. I've also heard of preliminary plans to bring it back on the CLT-PHX-CLT redeye turn daily in November (these are the two most common routings for the A330s in PHX). Of course we also have PHX-HNL-PHX staring on 12/15 with the A333 that will run through the end of at least next March; I believe they have yet to load a schedule that will bridge the aircraft into PHX for that flight.

It should be noted that this year is on track to see the most AA A330 movements in PHX by a long shot since they started operating them seasonally in 2014.

B13 and A30 were also recently striped to handle widebodies (all except the 77W) so it frees them of the constraints of using B23/25 (and 25 is currently down for pavement replacement). They're swing gates, so they occupy A26/30 and B11/13, but it does allow for more flexibility and lower gating costs going forward.

I cleared into F yesterday on flight 669 for tomorrow so even if the 332 flight is available for SDC I don't think I'll risk losing my F seat to gamble for a new one.

And Delta, as well. Sometimes they bring A330 to PHX during high winter season.

AA's rare widebody cargo service. Here's the schedule. https://www.aacargo.com/downloads/sc...S_Domestic.pdf

I flew this once to DFW from ORD in F. It was on a 763, though. AMAZING flight. I never thought I'd get lie-flat seats on a domestic flight.

Either I haven't been looking hard enough or something else but I've never seen a A330 at PHX!

If SDC comes up for that flight I will swap quicker than humanly possible.

I flew a widebody lie-flat A332 from BOS to PHL... the most interesting 200 mile flight I've ever been on!

I flew the A330 PHX-PHL this week, and it was significantly better than the usual recliners.

Currently sitting in a CR9 at B7 phx and I look to my right and see the 333. What a beautiful plane and such a nice change from the 320/738/CR's we see here everyday.

772 will be there beginning in April when seasonal PHX - LHR service begins.

Wonder if there will be any domestic positioning routes for it.

Looks like a 332 is doing rounds between CLT and PHL at the moment. Two routes a day! Not sure if same tail number but I'll take it over the normal 321.

Yes! I came back from ORD on one after Christmas. First time on one and it was NICE! Glad to see PHX getting some loving here and there.

PHX --> LHR is about 9.5 hours and LHR --> PHX is about 10.5 hours. Not enough time for a bird like that to do tags unless they run the PHX --> LHR flight and have the LHR --> PHX flight turning from being an inbound from another US city. (e.g., RDU or JFK).

In June I am going to fly on this aircraft from London on route to Sydney in AA's Premium Economy seat... looking forward to the trip as my first in this cabin.
