AA73 as QF 310 - LAX connections and check in issues (to merge)
Hello:
We are flying to Sydney tonight on QF310 which is operated by American Airlines as AA73.
It will not allow us to check in on line and get our boarding pass and requests that we check in at the airport.
Do we check in with American Airlines or Qantas?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the response.
We are traveling to LAX on a separate ticket and will already be through security.
Can we simply go to the gate and be checked in, or do we have to go out and check in at the main desks and go back through security?
Thanks
Dusty

Are you flying to LAX on AA? If so, you can just check in for your LAX-SYD flight at your departure airport.

Try to get your boarding passes at your initial point of departure. You'll most likely have to provide evidence of your Electronic Travel Authority / ETA (reason why why you weren't able to OLCI).
Then, in theory, arriving at Eagle's Nest, Terminals 5 or 4, use the airside connector to the Tim Bradley International Airport. See

And yes, you normally collect your boarding pass from the operating airline (AA in this instance).
