Online check-in problem for codeshare

I have an AA codeshare operated by IB. aa.com doesn't have a check-in option for the flight. When I try to check in on iberia.com, it says the flight is operated by AA and bounces me to aa.com. The flight is confirmed, with e-ticket numbers and seat assignments.

I'll check-in at the airport, but am wondering if others have had this issue.

Please merge if this is just a general website glitch.

You always checkin with the operating carrier. Thus if IBM isn't allowing you to checkin, the issue is with IBs systems. It's either confused or doesn't allow checkin when on an AA flight number.

Yes. In the past IB has allowed check-in with an AA flight number or, more frequently, reported that I can't check-in online. Therefore it seems confused. I was wondering if this was a confusion others had seen.

I had expected aa.com to bounce me to IB.
