The halibut is dry (as expected), but overall not bad. The chimichurri definitely has a little kick to it, though.

Beer braised beef tenderloin simmered with plums and potatoes

Seafood Bordetto Calamari, shrimp, and whitefish simmered in tomato coulis served with polenta

Grilled herb chicken with shiitake mushroom sauce, rice and noisette vegetables

Haven't seen this one in a while. Had it on GIG-MIA in 2015 and it was excellent. Of course, I don't know if it'll taste the same now, a year and a half later.

Thanks. I'm still leaning towards the chicken but I have a couple days to decide

I had that same Quinoa salad appetizer and tart on a recent DFW-LHR run. It was simply awful. I don't remember what the main was but I was not impressed. The best part of the meal was a bit of hummus and vegetables - I asked for more of that but they only had the allocated amount per plate. Pretty sad when hummus is the highlight of the meal!

Any one have a recommendation on the following choices:

• Roasted Lamb Chops
With mint pesto, creamy mashed potatoes with olive oil and haricots verts
• Organic Chicken Breast
With rosemary jus, cauliflower purée and roasted honey glazed pumpkin wedges
• Norwegian Salmon
With red Thai curry sauce, a king prawn, fragrant Thai rice and sautéed sugar snap peas
• Vegetarian Moussaka
With diced sweet potatoes and tofu Bolognese

Leaning toward the Salmon or the Chicken. Worried the lamb will have the same issues as steak on a plane --e.g., overdone and tough.

Thanks!

I had the lamb chops recently. They weren't bad at all; overcooked, of course, but that's to be expected.

Looking to fly LGA-ATL soon (5:20pm departure). It says "dinner" on the website, but it's operated by an E190.

Any chance of a hot meal?

This is the international meals thread. Your question would be better in the domestic meals thread.

But to answer your question, the E190s don't have ovens so no hot meals.

I am flying business class on the ICN-DFW route on a 772. The return (DFW-ICN) is business on a 789.

I was curious if anyone had a comprehensive list of what spirits were available on these routes. I haven't flown AA intercontinental business class recently so just was wondering what I could expect for that.

Thanks

Are those 'hub.aa' links for menus all not accessible anymore? :(

They're not for me, at least.

Dinner.

I forgot what the appetizer was? I wasn't in the mood for the appetizer and it didn't sound very appealing. I had a beef filet for the main which smelled burnt and it was as tough as Sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket. I never order beef on-board and I don't know why I did this time. Perhaps I am stressed out from 30,000+ miles of travel from the last 7 days.

On the other hand, I liked the fresh fruit for breakfast.

I'll just reuse quattroking's menu as it was the same:

Tasty, but too much orzo.

Selected by process of elimination: no to beef, no to fried seafood (other reviewers said it didn't reheat well), no to meatless option. Chicken is moist and well complemented by the sauce. Certainly a safe choice.

FA explicitly warned me that the dish was excessively saucy (!), which isn't easily seen from this photo angle, although some of the sauce must have spilled onto the tablecloth.

Usually I don't like a one tray meal but because it's a late flight I understand. Though the appetizer is literally bite sized. The lamb was actually pretty good though.

The mousse was delicious, one of the best AA desserts I've had in a while.

The smoothie was really low quality and the breakfast pretty meh.

I was really happy to see a local beer on this route

https://photos.smugmug.com/New-Zeala...IMG_1784-L.jpg

A pretty decent appetizer, though the plastic cup is a negative.

The green curry was one of the best entrees I've had on any AA flight.

I'm not sure what a pavlova is but it was pretty tasty.

Snacks were set up in the galley, there were cheese plates and nibbles.

The Mango smoothie wasn't terrible, though just like the LAX-AKL flight above, a pretty lame breakfast.
