I can confirm as well this is for the L "stinger" gates only, no T5 connector.

Oddly enough, DCA (middle pier) lounge was temporarily closed Saturday so maybe there is some move to install something new across the system.

I asked and was told it was schedued for 30 days to to replacing locks that were originally installed incorrectly.

Are you saying they need a month to replace locks?? They should not even need to close at all if that is indeed that case.

Hey it’s not me doing the work or making the decision, seems crazy to me as well. I asked the Flagship agents I see weekly and that was their answer. They too were shocked. Also it’s not AA doing the work but the airport authority. That might explain why so long.

Yes, there was a sign saying it was closed (I think until November 1) when I went over there last week. There was drywall over the entrance, so, it clearly was not going to be a one day event.
