To agree with others, to my mind the Centurion lounges are the best domestic lounges in the US by some margin.

Well worth the cost of the Amex Plat alone IMHO if the locations work with your regular destinations (they do for mine)

One reason this would be breaking the rules is after your first entry with your two guests, you would have to leave them to exit the lounge and enter with your spouse. Guests are not supposed to be left unaccompanied by their host. That is not to say I am condemning this route--I would try it--but just giving you the heads up on the letter of the law.

Another thought... post dates and times over on the AC "Meet-up" Thread. there might be a nice FT'R that would guest in one of your travel partners?
still stretching the rules a bit. but reading through that thread, it seems to happen often and you might make some new FT friends. Just my .02 RT

It is certainly worth checking that thread for useful offers; however, "Requests for access are inappropriate and will be summarily deleted."

Sort of...

I had three ways of getting lounge access:
* Admirals club membership (me + 2 guests no drink chits).
* Business class ticket (me + 1 guest with drink chits).
* International EXP (me + 1 guest with drink chits).

I wanted to guest in two people (hence requiring the AA club membership and forfeiting the drink chits). Fortunately the AAngels were nice and gave drink chits to two of the three of us.
