Would I have to cross immigration or security again to get to The Pier? Or maybe there's a transfer desk where I can get a boarding pass, and then head to The Pier?
What exactly are you trying to do?

HKG has two of my favorite arrivals lounges. They're called the Intercontinental and the Conrad.

I'm sure any high end hotel will let you shower in their gym/spa area before your room is ready. Or of course you can always book the room for the night before your arrival.

The champagne served in F was Lanson Gold Label Vintage Champagne. As far as five star service is concerned, I did not receive that upon departure from LAX on 9/7. At flagship check-in I was escorted to the front of the TSA Pre line but the escort bid me goodbye at that point. Also there was no five star service upon arrival in HKG.

That sounds like a lot of plastic.

SWU Cleared 62+ Hrs Before Flight (LAX-HKG)

Just wanted to provide a data point for SWU clearance for this flight.

I'm on the Sept 12, AA 192 LAX-HKG flight and noticed on EF that it was C1 (and still is). Called the EXP desk and said that my UG was already cleared, and they expedited the processing and assigned my seat within 10 minutes.

Another data point: I had a similar experience. I'm on the 9/10 AA 193 LAX-HKG tonight, and my UG to C cleared about 55 hours before departure. At that time, I had refreshed EF which suddenly showed C6 (much to my surprise), immediately called EXP desk, and the agent cleared the UG for me and assigned seats. Purchased the ticket/waitlisted SWU 2 weeks before departure.

The QF F lounge is noted to close at 11:30 PM on the OW site, but I did ask if there was a chance for extended hours in the QF forum dedicated to the lounge.. we'll see, but I don't hold much hope.
It's open past 23:30 for the CX 00:55 flight. It's a skeleton crew after 23:30, but bar and showers are still open at that time.

Question about transiting in HKG after AA 193. I have an onward flight with a 10 hour connection, so definitely will be heading into the city.

But because I am in Business on AA, I won't have access to The Arrival. Am I allowed to transit, use a departure lounge to take a shower, and then leave the airport? Is there a way to leave the airport and clear immigration from the Departures area? And would it cause any problems with my boarding pass and re-clearing security if I transit, leave, and then attempt to clear security upon my arrival back at the airport?

You can very easily do this. Follow signs to transit, go through transit security, enjoy whatever lounge you want to use , then head back towards the front and you will see signs for immigration.

From the CX thread, it seems like this has recently become more difficult. There is a pay in arrivals lounge that takes priority pass.
