JL/AA Fare Combinability Question
Due to my company's underwhelming travel policy I have to fly in Y no matter how long the flight is. I can pay the difference out of pocket though. I was eyeing a W fare on JL.
I don't know any travel agents, so my question is can I combine a JL W fare (books into E) on the outbound with a N fare return on AA. I'm guessing that it will price as two one ways.
Another question I have is it possible to book an OJ on JL in W?
In case it's needed the route is DFW-PUS. I'd like to book DFW-PUS ICN-DFW.

Every fare is different, sometimes you can mix and match like you're proposing and other times you can't. No one here will be able to tell you exactly, your best bet is to call AA.
I would put the flights you want on hold at aa.com (AA flight numbers in discount economy, if possible) then call AA and see what it will cost to upgrade one way or the other. I find that approach works better than starting from scratch with the phone AAgents.

Pricing up on Matrix, there seems no issue booking AA and JL together with JL outbound and AA inbound ( AA codeshare from PUS and then AA to USA ) with, for example JL outound to PUS and AA inbound
If the fares can be combined to allow PE and Economy, should be fine ; best thing to do is to call AA , JL or a travel agent and price it up
