First time in First class...CX or QR?

Privacy, seat width, and service all lean towards CX. Slept nearly 10 hours on my last HKG-BOS flight. The mattress pad makes all the difference in the world. That being said, second poster was right about the booking situation on award, so if you're looking at One World, then CX and JAL might be your only options. CX still wins there, particularly if routing through HKG, as the Wing Lounge is pretty damn nice. The F class champagne & caviar section, as well as the shower cabana rooms and noodle bar are all great experiences. Priority customs when landing in BKK too.
