Overnight baggage through check in

Overnight baggage through check in
Hi all,

I have a FLL-CLT-DCA coming up, booked on one ticket. 14:55-16:59, connecting to 19:45-21:02. Nothing unusual here.

However the next day, on a separate ticket, I have a DCA-PHL-HVN. 13:37-14:42 connecting to 16:00-17:06.

Would it be possible to through-check my bags, considering the separate tickets as well as the overnight?

AA won't check through on connections greater than 12 hours, overnight or not (separate tickets doesn't affect it either).

As I feared, thank you. I presume I can't recheck at DCA on the night of arrival either. Or that there are left luggage facilities?

Eleven hours is the through check limit for checked baggage with AA.

That being said, there are ways to force a tag to be issued for longer layovers as long as they're not overnight, but whether or not the agent knows how or is willing to do it is not guaranteed though.
