Either 24 or 25 when I hit Platinum Medallion on DL back when that was the top tier - and kept it for several years, each time qualifying on segments (ouch).

Hit EXP this year at 40 (thank you, LinkedIn challenge )

I haven't hit EXP yet. I hit Gold when I was a month shy of 17, Platinum five months later and United 1K when I was about 18 and a half.

28. Not bad for someone who (a) just found FT and learned about elite status less than a year prior, and (b) only flies for leisure, not work.

I was about 40 years old, had been Platinum consistently for many years. I have been EXP for the past 5 years. For many years I did not travel much for work.

The real question is how old were you when you hit 1 Million, 2 Million. I hit my 2 million last year at 61 years old.

I would love this, and send my dad to join. Hes 2MM on UA, 1.8MM I think on AA, now that hes "retired" hes getting into the cheap-J fares game.

Flew the equivalent on DL. I made it to Delta Diamond Medallion at 16 years old. Flew 127,665 MQMs at DL this year.
