Lightbulb Speculation: New safety video coming?

It does appear the timing is right to release a new safety video. There is nothing wrong with the existing video and its effectiveness, but a major company milestone is approaching.

With the 10/17 change, I wonder if this will happen soon after especially with crossfleeting or will they wait for the new uniform selection to be done? Yes, I will shout out to all of the S80 and LUS narrow body flyers among others who will have IRL briefings for the indefinite future.

I hope so. Whilst there is nothing wrong with the current video, as you said Rasheed, but it shows the old livery in the video and the A330 video is just a cut and copy on the old US one with the AA intro and ending: it looks cheap!

And as you said, 10/17 seems like a good time to introduce a new safety video.

There are SO many places to go in this world. And now one less airline that can take you there.

And only a few airlines left that can take you there.

So we thank you, for making the journey of consolidating the USA airline industry into an even smaller oligopoly with us. We're glad you're here (and that US is gone).

I see several people could make contributions to a "You know you're flying AA too much when...." thread.

... you find the Air France video interesting, if only because you've watched the AA video so many times that you long for something different.

Never inflate the vest inside the airplane!

My husband and I used to say (yell?) that line in sync with the video, back before they voiced-over the guy who used to do the speaking part there. Ah, memories.

Brilliant offers, everyone.

DL has, to my mind, set the video bar quite high. Not only did I pay full attention on board, I've watched the full series of six on you tube.

Yes. I understand that a new one has been shot and edited. It was due to come online in October, but haven't heard much lately on the final details.

I will propose that Virgin America's 'Safety Dance' is the cream of the safety video crop.
