Trying to avoid AA award on BA

hello , I'm trying to use Advantage miles to fly to Krakow to visit Auschwitz. But when i try searching for seats ,AA.com kept pushing BA flights thru LHR which of course cost allot in Taxes/surcharges. Has anyone been able to fly to CDG and then use Easy jet to your final destination?

It would help to know where you are flying from and what time of year.

KRK is also served by AA partners AB (via TXL), and by AY (via HEL). But those routings, if available, should show up on an award search at aa.com.

If you can find AA metal for the TATL portion of the trip, connecting to BA for the intra-European flight should not be that expensive.

These are the kind of searches that should have been started months ago. All the AA flights are long gone. And since the BA taxes and fuel charges make those flights less desirable....I am not surprised that is all that is left.

yeah , i know it was a long shot to find good first/business seats. but it was a last minute decision.
looks like flying to CDG and then taking easy jet to krakow will do then.
thanks

You're missing several AA partners, such as IB and other partners that you can't find on aa.com. But mainly, you're searching for premium can award travel under 60 days out in high season, when seats release begins 330 days out.
