Tracking EQPs [tips, tools?]
I guess I haven't been too worried about EQPs in the past as a US flyer and former AA Gold qualifying on EQMs. But now flying mostly for business (which I have access to book specific fare classes) and with half of those in business/first, I'd like to track accumulation of EQPs. I don't see a good way on aa.com to track EQPs, only EQMs. For example, I booked a flight last week on a B-fare. I'm not sure (and without tracking opening and ending EQP balances before every trip) whether I got my 1.5EQPs or not.
To you AA veterans, without using Excel to do this, any way I can verifying getting my EQPs at the right accrual rate via aa.com?

A spreadsheet is the best way to do this. It is easy to see the EQM and segment accumulation, but not the EQP. Full fare economy, business & first class will earn 1.5 points. Some discount economy will earn 1 point while others .5 point. http://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/ea...s/american.jsp

There is no report on AA.com that will show EQP transaction details. The few mileage tracker apps/websites I've looked at only track RDMs and some EQMs. Every program has a slightly different set of rules and it's tough keeping up. If a spreadsheet is too much work for you, then the only other choice I see is to simply note your current EQP balance and then periodically recompute to see if the numbers add up.
I started a sheet to track EQMs and forecast for upcoming trips. As scope-creep kicked in, it now looks up mileage instead of being entered every time. It computes the 500-mile minimum. It tracks scheduled flight time (with timezone considered), layover time, and downtime (both during a trip and between). It specifically flags status change thresholds. Now I have yet to have an error show up on AA.com, but it has kept me from missing a status change by year-end. I've also opened it up to include non-AA travel as well so there's no conflicts.

Some of these might bear minor adjustments, certainly city pairs as the mileage given by AA "creeps" from time to time and there are new city pairs - easy to insert and add.
