OZ lounge nothing to shout about...especially for an extended period of time. I found that it tends to overcrowding and the food/bev marginal at best.
Definitely check it out before forking over $.

For a 12 hour layover, I'd be looking at getting out and staying at a hotel. If during the the day, check for the day rates at hotels near the airport or perhaps even go downtown. I've gotten day rates of $99 a few years ago at the ICN Hyatt. They have a nice gym/pool/spa facility.

DFW-ICN-DFW Lounge Question for EXP

Hello Everyone,

Going to ICN for a few days next week. I am having a hard time figuring out which lounges to use as an EXP. I see the Flagship lounge should be open in DFW tomorrow - so I should be good to go in Dallas. As an EXP do I get access to Flagship First Dining?

What about the return in ICN? Which lounge is AA using? Any other OW Lounges close by I should use instead?

Thanks!

No, that's only for those in 3-class F on the 77W or A321T.

And CKs on a pass.

From a OneWorld perspective, you really only have one option:
https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location=ICN

There are some Priority Pass Lounges in ICN as well, if you have PP.

Except that page says access limited to OW members flying
  • Japan Airlines
  • Malaysia Airlines

that said, the last time I was in ICN and in J on AA, I believe we did get an invite card to the Korean Air lounge too

The lounge situation at ICN for eligible AA pax has been an embarrassment for years.

IMO, it is all of ICN. Granted, i have never been to the *A lounge, but the rest are underwhelming at best.

Except there are actually three lounges listed on the URL I provided; please read them all more closely.

Apologies I didn't literally hand feed the answer...

Any good reason to respond like that? It makes FT a far more pleasant place if we don't.

Whoops, looks like only the top portion of the page loaded on my phone.

Your impatience is noted, however.
