Fare Rule Interpretation Help?

Hi -- I'm trying to hold off on purchasing until Monday but these fare rules are confusing to me. It looks like 14 days advance but it also appears these fares are over Apr. 5? I can't tell if this is just a 48 hrs rule or if these fares really won't be available on Monday morning? It's a 272 each way ord-hnl i need to buy for work.

thank you for any help you can offer.

Will this help? From SF Gate - link, in part:

"American Cuts Spring Airfares

Add American Airlines to the list of Hawaii discounters: It's cutting airfare to the islands for flights through May 25, with round-trip prices under $400.

Specifically, you can fly from San Francisco to Honolulu round trip for as low as $382, including tax and fees (other than baggage). The sale is good from cities throughout the Mainland, and includes American's destinations in the outer islands (although from SFO, those require a leisurely connection through Los Angeles -- in the Bay Area, United's nonstops to Maui, Kauai or the Big Island would make more sense).

The fine print: Purchase by April 10, or 14 days in advance, whichever comes first; sale fares apply for travel to Hawaii Monday-Wednesday, and return travel Tuesday-Thursday; other days may be quite a bit higher. (For the $382 Monday-Thursday nonstop trip cited above, returning on a Friday bumped the price to $467, while coming back on Saturday pushed it to $625)."

A good thing to do in this situation is to put the fare on hold. If you want to buy a few days out you could go in each day and rehold (without AAdvantage number), then cancel the original hold that expires that day and then add your AAdvantage number to the new reservation.

Now, the important part is to look at the date that the new reservation is held until. If it is until 11:59pm on the following day, keep going for as many iterations until you want to purchase (or the fare increases). However, if the newly held reservation expires on 11:59pm on the same day, make your purchase that day. If you wait until the following day, this fare will not be available.

Be careful to check the "held until" date. I have got burned by holding a flight and presuming it is held until the following day, and then going back the next day to find my hold expired and the fare doubled.
