Mileage seat availability
I would like to redeem miles. There are no seats available for the dates that I want. Is it possible that the airline can add more seats for redeeming frequent flyer miles or is whatever posted set/final?

Award inventories on flights are dynamic and change throughout the day.
IME as one gets closer to the travel day one will see more award seats open (assuming the flights are not full of course).

AA continually evaluates whether or not to release additional award inventory. More award seats could open up closer to flight date.
AA allows booking of Open Jaws (into one city, out of another). These awards do not show up online; you have to call.
