Upgrade Sticker Balances
Hello - I am currently a plat and will switch over to exec plat towards the end of the year.
For the rest of you plats who request an upgrade every time, do you keep a balance of stickers in your account or do you pay for the stickers once the upgrade is granted? Does the sticker balance affect the upgrade grant?
Currently I have outstanding upgrade requests for 16 stickers with only 4 in my account. I don't mind buying them, I just don't want to have a balance of stickers when I flip to exec plat and start getting the free upgrades.
Any thoughts would be apprecaited.

It wouldn't hurt to have just a few stickers in your account, for possible companion upgrades.

Probably none of us will be EXP forever, and the stickers will be there waiting for our soft landing... and you can use them for travel companions as well. But if you want all those upgrades and have none when you are granted them, you have two options - relinquish the upgrade and sit in Siberia, or pay the higher counter price.

No. You can have 0 stickers and you still can clear with no effect on your priority.
However, as others have said, having 0 stickers WILL add to your check-in time at the airport because you will have to buy the stickers before you can receive your boarding pass(es).
So, it's a good idea to have enough stickers in your account to cover the upgraded segment(s) BEFORE the OLCI window opens.

However, if upgraded with enough time before the flight, you can buy the upgrades. I think it says you to allow 2 hours for them to post.
