Can't OLCI for the second leg
traveling to SFO later today and to ORD tomorrow morning. I had previously checked in on line for today's flight. Tried to OLCI today at the 24 hour mark for tomorrow's flight, but I can't find a way to do it on aa.com.
called aa web services and was told that, if I had waited and not checked in for today's SFO flight until I was within the 24 hour mark for tomorrow's ORD, I could have checked in and received boarding passes for both. however, since I checked in for SFO, I can't olci for ORD until (I land? tomorrow? something)
does that sound right? did I make a rookie mistake?

If you go into your reservation and hit the "reprint boarding passes" button, it should give your BPs for the outbound and return flights.
