The OP wasn't flying business class, so that was the point of my confusion.
He satid:
"Will be in coach but am PLT and AC member"

So, the only part that works for him is being an AC member

The EI lounge in T1 is terrible but then again so is the entire departure area.
But, presumably, one would have access to the BA lounge in T1 if you're saphire or above.

Are the EI gates convenient to the BA lounge?

I wuold think they might if they're on a OneWorld departing flight. EI isn't a member of OneWorld, but if the EI metal flight is an AA codeshare? I'm not so sure. May just depend on how the BA Lounge Dragon views the boarding pass...

Issue is that there is no OW lounge in Dublin. It is a contract lounge that many OW members belong to (BA, IB, etc) but to which AA does not. AA has an agreement with EI in Dublin to allow Business class and AC members into its lounge if traveling on AA or EI flights. LHR rules as previously noted only allow Business class fliers access. Issue arises in Dublin when one is a Plat or Exec Plat flier who is not an AC member or flying in Business. In such cases in you are SOL since there is no OW lounge option available to compensate for lack of access to EI lounge.

Not if one is traveling on on EI since they are no longer part of OW. BA does code share with EI on the LHR-DUB route so if ticketed as a BA flight number you may have access to Terraces but not 100% sure.

Is there Fastrack for AA business class passengers at the Dublin US Immigrations Preclearance area? Is the applicable lounge before or after this area?

AA is not pre-clearing the DUB-ORD flights. AA tends to depart from the C concourse or a bus gate and neither of these gates have access to the US Immigration facilities which are located in the B concourse.

That said - no US Immigration facilities (off shore or on shore) have a fast-track line for premium or elite passengers.

It's true, though. We came home Wednesday - no pre-clear on DUB/ORD. Also, please note that the EI lounge is in B and we left from C. It's not far, but you have to allow a little time.

Yes, you can wander between A, B, and C once you've cleared security.
