U inventory on partners avail to AA??
Kind of a newbie type question but I didn't see it explicitly answered in the various threads I've read:
If a partner airline, specifically QF, shows U2 inventory via EF for a particular flight, is that inventory available to book for an AA award? I think some partners, like CX, don't even share this inventory with EF, but of those who do, is it always available for AA??
Thanks in advance.

Not necessarily. CX (and I believe QF also) will hold back inventory from AAdvantage members, even if they do have U, Z, or X seats available on the flight. I have experienced this with EI too.

Ok- it seems if I want to book a QF flight in U, I can use EF to ID some possibilities but then I'll still have to call in and pray!! Thanks for the clarification!
