Cheapest was to get AA miles?
Hi,
I have some AA miles that will be expiring soon. Based in MEL, there isn't much option for MR. I tried with the recent Sol Melia joining promo, but that fell through. What would be the cheapest way to earn a few miles to keep my account active?
thanks

Could you do the dining program in Melbourne? You could also perhaps make a purchase through AAdvantage shopping or order flowers? My Mother's Day FTD posted in about 3 days.

Adelaide or Launceston ar pretty in early winter to name some very affordable
destinations.
I know that it is painful, and my SYD-PER hops earn a mere 1000 something
miles ... but it keeps the account alive.

You can earn a few AA miles donating to the US National Park system. Minimum donation to earn miles is just US$10. Online donations at:

Donations are the quickest way, but getting a Citibank AA card can earn you 10-15k.
