Does AA gives out 1000 miles bonus for online booking?
Can't find info on AA.com. But there is an ad on American Way megazine reads "get up to 1000 mile bonus for online booking".

Award Travel?
I was going to start a new thread but figured I would jump in here.
Does AA also give the bonus when booking online for AAward Travel?
I recently booked/took an AAward trip and while they deducted my miles, I received none for booking online. I completed travel in 11/04.

The AA website often has imprecise language that's open to interpretation .... but this seems to be one area where it's crystal clear......
"Anytime you book your American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection® ticket on AA.com, you'll earn 500 AAdvantage bonus miles for one-way travel - up to 1,000 miles round-trip! This booking bonus also applies when you book an AAdvantage award online. Bonus miles will be awarded after your travel is completed."

Those 1,000 bonus miles have NEVER shown up automatically and apparently customer service is fully aware of that issue and issues those 1,000 miles rather fast.
