I'm looking to fly AA (actually AE) from Boston to Toronto, but it seems like a pretty long flight (1 hour 40 minutes) on an RJ. Anyone with experience on this route? What would you recommend?

It isn't that bad, I have taken the flight about twice and have been fine both times. Any flights that I take to Canada I try to make on Air Canada. Bigger aircraft, more flights daily.
If your going for the miles or are a very frequent AAdvantage collector then go for it.

LAX21, I like your LAX routing idea, but not sure my company would agree. I guess I am an AA mileage junkie as I went ahead and booked the RJ flight. Thanks to all for the input.

I fly this route frequently. Often the flight takes less than the scheduled duration, unless landing at a peak time. The biggest downside is the use of the satellite terminal in YYZ.

On the upside, I've never had a bad flight on this route - the onboard service has been better than average (for Eagle). Enjoy your visit to Toronto.
