This is for ORD-SCL in J. Google flights reports: American 945 · Boeing 777 Angled flat seat. $1626.
Are the angled flat seats noticeably subpar for sleeping compared to flat? For $300 more round trip there is:
American 912 · Business Class · Boeing 767 Lie flat seat
You guys think the $300 extra is worth it?

I personally would stay on the 777 with the NGBC seat. The seat on the 767 is just so narrow I don't find it that comfortable for sleeping, and I certainly wouldn't pay a premium for it. I've never had too much of a problem with the angled NGBC seat personally, especially the 777 version.
Just out of curiosity, what's the buy-up to F cost on the 777 flight? If it's within $400-500, I would say that's the way to go.

Personally, I prefer the 763CIP 180deg flat seat for sleeping. Then there's the aisle access for all seats. Since I prefer window seats, it's really great on the 763 to not have to climb over the person on the aisle, as one must do on the 772.

I have to say, I don't really mind the 9 degree angle of AA's angle flat seating--even on fully flat seats, I'll often keep a small angle (probably not 9 degrees, but at least a degree or two) because it feels more natural. If seats were more bed-like and less like a bed-chair hybrid, I don't think I'd need to do this.

I would spend $1500 of my employers money for a flat bed. Maybe even 2500.
