Is it me or are the Getaways really getting bad?

Haven't paid attention to the "getaways" in years. Rarely found them to be of much value.

There used to be some good deals from San Diego on these promotions. There hasn't been ONE since the merger.

These are worthless these days.....there are never any good deals at the last minute these days to anywhere remotely worth going to.

Effective revenue management and broader internet searches & booking made these worthless years and years ago. A flexible carrier will right-size capacity (aircraft, frequency, and day of week changes) to minimize the volume of inventory sold at deep discount. Persistently high load factors demonstrate this.

Let's see it is Easter weekend/ Spring Break. Lots of people going home or taking a break. Nothing left but the chum.

That being said. I think I used it once, and that was ~10 years ago
