Miles for Mortgage Payement.

I am thinking of making a large payment on my mortage (Countrywide). I was wondering if there was a way to get miles for this.

Anybody have any tricks. I guess one could have used the Savingsbonds in the past, but that is gone.

I have the AA MC and AMX MR.

thanks.

You might want to see if Countrywide will allow you to make automatic payments on either card monthly.

I have my AAdvantage MC set-up to pay most of my recurring monthly business expenses (Cell phone, office line, internet access, etc...) maybe countrywide has a similar program.

No mortgage payments via plastic sorry. An article in the Wall street journal last week or 2. Buy a debit card from some outfit in the midwest online. They mail the card to you then you go to the post office and redeem for money order. Alittle bit of leg work but all depends on the size of the mortgage payment.

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (my mortgage company) will not accept credit cards for payments. Only checks or electronic fund transfer from a deposit account.
But some landlords do accept credit cards for rent.
Also, I can pay a few bills by credit card either online or over the phone (my cable, cellphone and gas bill). Not as much as a mortgage payment, but it does add up.
