Best Airport Food
I have not read any threads like this in a while and was wondering what you, The FlyerTalk Posters, would consider the best airport restaurants that should not be missed. Since I primarily only fly AA, let's try to limit this discussion to AA destinations.
For starters, I think Austin is terrific with The Salt Lick. Not as good as the original in Driftwood but a nice second.
What other restaurants would you consider excellent?
Can you tell I'm hungry?
Best regards,
Mike

Legal's at Boston Logan and Washington National.
Matusake (Japanese) at Washington National.
Dickey's BBQ at DFW.
Fig's at La Guardia--the full service one not the to go on the AA concourse.
Most restaurants in the international section at SFO.

There is a Krispy Kreme in CLT, and an Popeye's in IAH. Now, if we could find an airport that had both, now, that would top the kudu/impala/springbok stand in PHW...

ORD-
Corner Bakery in the routunda by the G concourse. The absolute best is the Berghoff's in the C councourse. It's a great spot for a corned beef sandwich or an authentic german brat with kraut. You can wash it down with a glass of their terrific draft beers.

Best airport restaurant period in the country IMHO, La Carretta in MIA very good Cuban food cooked homestyle and huge selection of choices and large portions. No wonder the place is always very busy.
Chalk one up against the hordes of MIA detractors.

hmmmm... Tough to answer.
DFW --- When I fly, nothing is open. It's either too early (and I don't eat breakfast), or it's too late (and I want to go home)
LAX --- T4 has a Burger King and a small Chili's. That's it..

I may be biased, but my vote has to go to SFO and the Intl Terminal in particular
This is a little dated but here is a true foodie discussion
of the best eats at SFO.
And the SFO on-line guide lists all the restuarants and their locations.
Some of my favorites:
I'll spare you and stop there
