"I am an AC member, and I am GLD. Should I would like to shower there, is there a shower at BA's facilities I can use? Does the AC have showers?"

I think that you may be unable to go to the AC anyway since it is in the wrong terminal and unless travelling in Club Europe/Club World/First on with BA then you won't have access to the BA lounges as a OW Ruby member. If you do have lounge entitlement, then the BA Terraces does have showers.

Personally, I actually find the BOS-LHR flight too short (usually < 6 hours). After eating dinner, this does not leave enough time for a good snooze in preparation for a day's work in Europe.

I was going to say the same thing- JFK-LHR is too short by a few hours for those who can sleep on planes, IMHO, and BOS-LHR is even shorter.

As an AA Gold you have zero lounge access with BA

thanks for the advice everybody.

booked outbound tues night (PHL-BOS-LHR) and return sunday night (CDG-ORD-PHL) of thanksgiving week for $250 each plus taxes for a total of $338 each. was also able to confirm VIPOW upgrades at time of booking, so i'm a happy camper!

Yowzer, that fare seems pretty good, especially this far in advance. I am thinking about SJC-LHR over Christmas but fares right now show up at $1700+. Is this a special fare going on? I get same prices for SFO-LHR.

Thanks.

UPDATE: Answered my own question. Put in same dates (11/25 and 11/30) and get the $330 price too from SJC. Too bad it's a 500% increase over Christmas.

I agree, which is why my personal philosophy is to eat a light meal in the Flagship Lounge and sleep immediately upon takeoff.

It's GSK, or GlaxoSmithKline. Also, the flight does well with a high cargo revenue load. This flight is also AA's most profitable European route and was also the only European route that made a profit in Q4 2002. </font>

LGW arrivals Lounge at the Hilton is closed. Was just there over the weekend and checked.

The video on the plane says it is still open.

Yes! And with the sushi now back in full force, not to mention other goodies, that's an increasingly real possibility.

My recent trip report that includes a decent-sized section on the BOS Flagship Lounge

-Ben, just dropped from EXP to PLT, unsure when he'll next be back to the BOS FL...

I wouldn't have believed the sushi without the picture. Thanks!

Drop me a line next time you're desperate for entrance. I'll just get a one-way ticket to Europe and have you in as my guest.

I agree...I would rather go to ORD and take a longer flight where you can sleep for a couple of extra hours...of course, starting in BOS, that's not a practical option, but if I had to make a connection, that would be my preference.
