BA Codeshare (Short-Y) Flight Difference $1075!
Just for fun I sometimes check how much $ I "saved" vs. buying a ticket later on. Just ran across a pretty amazing difference on the price of the last segment, which happen to be a BA codeshare from LHR to DUB.
When booking on AA.com, the price of an AUS-DFW-LHR-DUB ticket with the last segment being the 12:30 PM BA flight (AA 6770- BA 836) costs $2347 whereas the later 1:50 PM flight (AA 6542- BA 838) costs $1272! I checked on BA.com, and the 2 flights are priced the same if booking through them.
I know not to try to apply too much logic to airline pricing, but this one just stood out!
